Helena's Trip Pt #14 PDF Print E-mail

January, 13th - We leave Natal underneath much rain, for João Pessoa/PB. The ticket of Ana was for tomorrow (January, 14th)) stretch Recife/Brasilia Text Box: In João Pessoa we stopped to take off some photos and, suddenly, Anúbis felt homesicknesses of workshops! But, this time, Horus and Anubis have to go to shop. Both had problems with rolling the rear wheel.

They started to leak oil for the wheel! Where it has a workshop in this city?

We find one! And we spent all afternoon there! And rains, rains and more rains. At night, the search of hotel also a stressing thing too. We did not obtain vacant in none place! We finish being in a very expensive hotel in the side of the beach. I took off everything of the luggages. I spread clothes for the room all; therefore we went to order with Ana most of them. With this, we would alleviate the weight that Anúbis loaded!

January, 14th - 6 a.m. we were already taking coffee. We made a fast stroll for JoãoPessoa/PB and we went direct for Recife. The insurance died of old: the flight of Ana was alone 2:30 p.m., but, better to arrive early! We catch BR -101 for Recife/PE again. We stood at the airport for about 4 hours! Then, the only place we knew of Recife was its airport. Ana embarked with luggage excess.

Road again for our beloved hotel in Alagoas – ‘Paradise of the Coqueirais’!

I didn’t speak about the ‘treminhões’. Well, these vehicles are so big trucks. They had been company constant in this trip. As they are enormous and they load much weight (cane-of-sugar) are difficult to exceed, mainly in definitive well put into motion stretches of the roads. Result: I was behind them, for minutes that seemed hours, eating lints of sugar cane, rinds and little stones! A horror!

Ana arrived well in Brasilia!

At night, still in the road, we had to wear leather jackets. We feel cold for the first time! The road was wet, must have sufficiently rained. As we were without Ana, we drew out more the pilotage time. For return of 9 p.m. we arrived at our beloved ‘Paradise of the Coqueirais’, in Japaratinga/AL. The trikes are again off the point. Mine it started to have problems with the mile lights: a pair burnt (still they remain more 2 pairs).
