January 15th to 19th - We were to know Port of Galinhas/PE. I confess that I disappointed myself. In these days the trikes had had recess of us. Or we of them! We pass one day entire in the hotel. We were to the swimming pool, beach, and sleep sufficiently. At last we are resting and recharging our batteries therefore still lacked about 2.000 km until our house! One more time we do not resist: we were to walk again of trike in the beach – drifting again! Our passion for Japaratinga was so entrancing that we leave with the certainty of that we would buy a property for there.

January, 19th - To 5h of the morning we leave of Japaratinga/AL. It was sad to leave! We will come back certainty!

We rode about 70 km and, then, Anúbis asked for workshop. It wasn’t serious. Just to place a screw in the front mudguard. We arrived to Maceió early in the morning and Anúbis cried out, incessantly, for workshop! Will be possible a thing of these? (I do not go to cry). We stop in a workshop of motions to change the front shock absorbers. We follow for Penedo/AL and of we cross there of raft for Neópolis/SE.

In Estância/SE, Anúbis felt smells of workshop and wanted to stop. It had determined, without consulting its owner, who wanted to leave the exhaust pipe in the road.

The night falls and we enter again in the state of the Bahia. At night I pass for a problem: as we didn’t have time to fix my speedometer for the trip, I bought a bicycle speedometer. Very good and It functions right. But, at night, I can not see it; therefore it does not have illumination.

We arrived at Salvador/BA at about 9 p.m. We meet our friends Zé Carlos and Renato. They are of these people special who we find for the roads of the life! These people who you must keep close of the heart! And which our surprise when discovering that Zé Carlos beyond triker he also makes trikes! He has a workshop in house and could make new fixes in Anúbis, which already was leaking oil for the wheel again.

January, 20th - Soon early we were for the house of the Zé Carlos. Zé Carlos disassembled the entire wheel and fixed it. Later, we leave in 4 trikes to lunch and to take ice cream. Total success! We could not leave without before seeing our big friend Figueiredo. We pass in his house for farewells.

January, 21st - As we had plans to make the stretch Salvador/Lençóis (BA) - about 425 km, we woke up a little later therefore the stretch was relatively small. When we arrived at the Lençóis entrance we decided not to stop and to give to continuity the trip.

We stop in Ibotirama/BA to 9 p.m. for a snack and come back again toward the road! In this stretch, between Ibotirama and Barreiras, 2 others pairs of lighthouses of miles of my trike had burnt. I was just with the central lighthouse! From there in ahead, Maurício assumed the advantage! At 11 p.m. we arrived to Barreiras and we decided to stop. 896 km had been in only one day! We were very tired.
